Meet ‘Hope’ our new 6 yr old Rescue Beagle who came to live with Simon and I one month ago. She comes to work with me daily and sits on the window on a bed of roses watching the world go by. Is she not the sweetest?! Also Jess my lovely intern painted our back wall in the shop a lovely ‘Seaglass’ color and we recovered our custom display board with a pretty red and white printed fabric, so the counter area has had a bit of a seasonal face lift! Lastly we were so thrilled to make it into the Eat Shop NYC Guide for 2010, its such a great little book and can be purchased by clicking on the photo’s link.

I had the loveliest of couple in Park Slope, Brooklyn to work with on these completely custom invitations, Becca and Ben, here they are:
Their nuptials will take place in Vermont this August. We worked together to highlight some of the features of their Wedding destination, i.e Alpaca, Barns & Barn Owls…that sort of thing. Here is the invite below, which actually has them holding hands under a leafy archway :

A moment of happiness…
There are times (like tax time!) when I wonder why on earth I try to work for myself and then there are times like this week,when I got create an illustration and make set of Prints for a super nice family in honor of their little one’s Christening. Sarah chose a few lines from an ancient Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi love poem called ‘A moment of happiness’. The verse and her liking for Parrots was my inspiration. Here’s the 2 stages of how it turned out. The Christening is today and 7 guests (mostly Godparents) will be taking a whitewashed,maple wood framed print home to hang on their Nursery walls. I hope the weather holds out for the Robertson Family today and wee Baby Wyndham has a special day!

OPEN TODAY - MONDAY 5TH
Good Morning, normally I try to take a day off from the Shop and Monday’s and Tuesday’s we ARE officially closed, but in truth I usually end up working from home anyway so today in honor of the flawless weather and the fact that I still have some major catching up to do as a result of taking time out to go home the other week (SO worth it though). This week I have a custom print design that I am making 7 framed pieces involving green exotic Parrots and yellow flowers,for a very special babies Christening, also printing Wedding Favor paper sacks for a friend’s Wedding in Park Slope and dealing with a few other custom quotes. For the Shop I am going to be printing some new crafty project pouches and shoe bags (a new venture) and if there’s any time to spare, the plan is to design 6 new kids and Adults Tee’s for the Summer and a few new Tote Bags. Ongoing projects that are happening very slowly and very much behind the scenes are a shoe project with Keds and a Foxy & Winston patterned fabric project for the Shop. It’s definitely time to look for help…Internship anyone??
I cannot believe its 2 years since I created this sweet and kooky birth announcement and this little Lady is coming up 2 on April 30th so in honor of wee Sylvia HAPPY BIRTHDAY WINKIE!! here she is below

Happy Easter Everyone!
Well I’ve been back Stateside now for just over a week and cooking up Easter goodies for the Shop this weekend. Here are a few photo’s of new products freshly printed this week. The Cotton Tea Cloths are a lovely crisp quality - I purchased them whilst in the UK and printed them this week. The Undies come in American Apparel white Ladies size 2 and 3 While they are not for sale just yet on the online shop, feel free to call me 718.928.4855 if you’d like to purchase any over the phone. In other news I am thrilled to have made it into the Eat Shop New York Guide 2010 which will be out very soon in the shops!
